FAQsWhat happens if I am late for pick-up? A late fee of one dollar per minute is charged for every minute you are late in picking up your child after 6 p.m. The late fee is accrued according to the Mustard Seed clock. Is there any kind of refund in case of sickness? You are entitled to one week of credit a year for vacation or sickness. What about naps? At the Mustard Seed, children generally nap between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. This varies according to their needs and ages. The children will rest on mats. You will need to provide a crib sheet and a light blanket, or two light blankets for your child's comfort. If you come late to the Center, please avoid dropping off your child at nap time. This may be disruptive to the group and confusing to your child. Rest, is required for children ages five years and under, children demonstrating a need for rest and children remaining in care more than six hours. Who is in charge of the Meals and the Snacks? Children bring their own lunches, which we will gladly warm. Milk or juice is provided. The Mustard Seed also provides two nutritious snacks each day. Snacks include one serving of protein or dairy product and either a serving of bread or bread alternative or a fruit or vegetable. You are welcome to provide snacks for your child's class for birthdays or other special occasions. What do I need to bring on the First Day?
Where should I park? Please park in the parking spaces next to the Mustard Seed when you bring your child to the Center and pick him/her up. Please do not park in the roadway in front of the Center, blocking cars exiting the parking lot or driving to the rear of the church.
